Wallace MacDonald's cutting-edge 3.5 million sq ft technology complex, the largest in the USA, is coming to Nevada. This state-of-the-art facility will specialize in the design, development, and manufacturing of advanced aerospace systems and propulsion devices. The complex will house sophisticated laboratories and manufacturing units equipped with the latest technology for research and development in aerospace engineering, energy-efficient propulsion systems, and integrated aerospace solutions.

At the heart of the complex, our engineers will leverage innovative materials, such as high-performance composites and advanced alloys, to produce next-generation propulsion devices. These will include electric propulsion systems, hybrid engines, and other cutting-edge aerospace technologies designed to meet the demands of future aerospace missions.

Furthermore, our facility will integrate automated manufacturing processes, including precision machining, additive manufacturing (3D printing), and advanced assembly lines, to ensure the highest levels of quality, efficiency, and scalability in production. We are particularly interested in the development of tokamak facilities—doughnut-shaped reactors like the prestigious National Spherical Torus Experiment-Upgrade (NSTX-U). These reactors are instrumental in advancing fusion research, and our goal is to innovate in how the energy, especially the fast neutrons produced, can be effectively harvested. By utilizing blankets composed of molten lithium and lead surrounding the plasma, we aim to collect and convert this energy into electricity.

Controlling plasma at the extreme temperatures required for fusion (we're talking millions of degrees) is like trying to hold a star in a bottle. Recent advancements in magnetic confinement techniques, using devices like tokamaks and stellarators, have made it possible to contain and stabilize this incredibly hot plasma. Innovations in superconducting magnets and plasma physics are improving confinement times and efficiency, bringing us closer to sustained fusion reactions suitable for propulsion.

Companies like Helion Energy and General Fusion are also making waves with alternative approaches to fusion, such as magneto-inertial fusion and aneutronic fusion. Aneutronic fusion reactions, which produce far fewer neutrons, are particularly exciting because they reduce harmful radiation and material degradation in the reactor components. This means safer, more durable engines for long-duration missions.
